Rodrigo Morell is a partner of Creara International. Since he joined Creara Internationalin 2006, Creara has become a leading company in the field of Energy Efficiency, offering high value added consultancy and engineering services to clients all along the value chain, with an active presence in Europe and Latin America.
His professional career starts in London, when he joined L.E.K. Consulting, where he worked for three years. Based on the London office of L.E.K., he developed strategy projects on a wide range of sectors including energy and infrastructure. In 2003 he joined the Marketing Department of Vocento, the leading written press group in Spain.
Rodrigo has a vast knowledge of the sustainability challenges and financial aspects of the energy efficiency. Regarding financing energy scheme, Rodrigo has pioneered the development of Energy Service Company (ESCO) Market in Europe. He notably participated in the development of the first street lighting ESCO project in Spain.
Rodrigo has also hands-on experience in the assessment of barriers, institutional and regulatory frameworks. He was part of the panel of experts that supported the government on the development of Energy Efficiency standards, becoming a member of the Managing Group of the Spanish Energy Efficiency Technical Platform (PTE-EE)
He holds a Bachelor degree of Economics and Business Administration (ICADE, Madrid, Spain, 2000).
