Osman Adra

Osman Adra is a registered mechanical engineer in the Order of Engineers and Architects in Lebanon since 1988. After holding various positions in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, he started his career in Lebanon as Managing Partner of MACES (Mechanical Air Conditioning and Engineering Services), specializing in the design and execution of HVAC projects in Tripoli, North Lebanon. In 1998, he founded his own firm, Intercool scs, which soon became an established market leader of MEP projects.
In 2007, he launched and managed Rymar FZE in Dubai UAE, specialized in the installation, maintenance & upgrade of central cooling and ventilation systems for residential buildings. Identifying the huge potential in energy efficiency and renewable energy, Osman geared his companies towards this field, gradually building their human and financial capacity. Four years later, he establishes Intercool Energy Services Company, a spin-off of the mother company, dedicated to energy services in Lebanon and Dubai.
Osman, who graduated with distinction from the American University in Beirut, the oldest and most prestigious university in the MENA region, has more than 25 years of experience in engineering, management and contracting. A proponent of continuous improvement and self-enhancement, he is currently enrolled in Pro-Green professional diploma, (http://www.progreendiploma.com/Student-Resources.aspx), a joint program offered by three of the best universities in the region.
Osman is also part time faculty at the University of Balamand since 2003, (http://balamand.edu.lb/main/Pages/default.aspx), teaching various courses in Building Services and Green Technologies.
As of September 2015, Osman became a Certified Energy Manager CEM ® and a EU-certified trainer in Green Entrepreneurship under the SwitchMed program. (https://www.switchmed.eu/en)
